Support Mahmouds Family in Gaza
Australia
I am Mahmoud from Gaza and I have a family of 6 members. We used to live a decent life, but when the war started, my life began to be destroyed and collapsed. At the beginning of the war, I lost my source of livelihood and my job. After that, I lost my home, which was bombed. It sheltered me, my wife and my children. Now we live without shelter in a tent, me and my children. Every period of time, we are displaced and leave the place to go to a safer place, escaping death and bombing in order to survive.
After all these challenges and suffering, I cannot provide food for my children because of the high cost of living. I do not have a source of income. Today, my children and I are dying of hunger every day. Even my little girl, who is 7 months old, I cannot provide her with milk or diapers. We are living the tragedy and suffering in all its descriptions: displacement, fear, hunger and destruction… And every day, with this fear, my children and I always go to look for food through the shelters, but alas, we do not find anything to satisfy our hunger, as there is beating and barbarism at the shelters.
My children are afraid and are beaten by all the people at the shelter to get Food and other things we go to get drinking water we walk a distance of no less than 2 kilometers to get it and most of the time it is not fit to drink and harmful to my children and my little girl we are living through great suffering that no one can bear so how can small children bear it we are dying of hunger maybe we will die tomorrow or the day after tomorrow because of the famine, the siege and the bombing
Despite Mahmoud working so hard to share his families suffering on instagram, he is struggling to afford food for his children. He’s had to use scraps of fabric and plastic instead of diapers for the baby, causing a rash. Currently just one single diaper costs $4 USD and a tin of baby formula costs $100.
Please consider scheduling a regular donation. If enough people donated $5 a week, or even monthly- these children wouldn’t go hungry
